YOUR PRECIOUS MOMENTS CAPTURED

My style is to create fun family photographs, in a natural and vibrant way. I want to help you to create unique timeless photographs that you will treasure forever. As your family portrait photographer, I want to give you a collection of images that are defined by their relaxed yet elegant style, and that is a true reflection of your family as it is now.

How does your session work?

  • When you book your session you can choose either the 1-2 hour MINI or the 2-3 hour STANDARD package.

  • Our priority will be to shoot outdoors, as there is no better way to create natural, spontaneous photographs than using nature as your back-drop.

  • In case of bad weather, we will have the option of shooting indoors at your home or I am happy to reschedule our shoot

  • During your shoot, I will make sure to take more traditional portraits as well as capturing in the moment nuances, so you will leave with a great mixture of classic photographs and memories of your family as it is now.

  • After your booking, I will get in touch to have a little chat so I understand what you would like to get out of your session - even if you haven't had any experience before, it is good to get to know each other a little bit.

  • Our previous chat will allow me to help you and gently direct you through your session and ensure you will get the desired result.

  • We will work through different ideas, setups, backdrops and poses until I'm sure we have everything we've discussed and more.

How to prepare for you session?

  • It is best to prepare multiple outfits in case of any accidents and to have enough options to choose from on the day.

  • If there's going to be family photos or more children photographed, I suggest coming with cohesive outfits. Not necessary matching or same, but the colours and materials to complement each other.

  • It always makes it easier if we stay away from heavy patterns and logos and keep it simple and clean so the focus stays on your and your family.

  • Having any comforting toys, teddy bears or even snacks always come handy at times when your little ones need some distraction.

What happens after the session?

  • During your session, I take multiple images from which I will create your digital contact sheet.

  • This sheet will feature your untouched, raw images where you can choose the final selection of your favourite images.

  • Your chosen package already includes received digital photographs and if you wish to order some additional images you can do so for £15 each or another ten image at £10 each.

  • Once I have received your selection it takes 10-12 working days to receive your final digital photographs.

  • When do I need to pay for my session?
When you book your session there is a retainer fee of 50% due which will be deducted from your final invoice. The rest of your balace will be invoiced to you on the day of your photo session.
  • What happens if I can't attend my booked shoot?
If you need to rechedule, and you give me more than 7 days notice we can find a new suitable date and transfer your retainer fee to the rescheduled day. Rescheduling less than 7 days before the date of your session, for reasons other than unsuitable weather or health issues in the family will result in loss of your retainer fee.
  • What payment method do you accept?
My preffered payment method is through the link I will provide to you or via direct bank transfer. If you wish to pay the balance of your photoshoot on the day by cash, we can definitely do that too.
  • Can I get additional images on top of my package? What are the costs?
Yes, of course. Any additional images are £15 each or when you another ten or more addiontional images, they are £10 each.
  • Where do the session will take place?
We will aim to hold the sessions outdoors, either in the park and/or by the bank of the Danube. In case of bad weather we will set up a mini studio at Gabi's place. The address is 2100 Korneuburg, Parkweg 3/5.
  • What should we all wear?
Exactly what you like – you all want to look and feel like yourselves. A few tips… The most important thing is for the children to be happy and comfortable – however beautiful an outfit is, if it’s uncomfortable it’ll make the child grumpy, and we want to avoid that where possible! Choose a colour palette (or a favourite piece) and arrange coordinating outfits (not too ‘matchy matchy’). For example everyone wearing soft blues and pinks looks lovely, or blues with a splash of yellow and looked fab. I generally encourage mums to cover their upper arms as too much skin can be distracting, but wear what you feel best in. The photographs will be on your walls for years to come so go classic and avoid cartoon characters/big logos or text. Textures, patterns and layers photograph well (as long as they co-ordinate with each other) and have fun with accessories if you want!
  • Do you photograph in colour or black & white?
I do a mixture, choosing what I think works best for each individual photo
  • What happens if my children misbehave?
I ask all parents not to worry or be anxious about their children on the photoshoot. I am relaxed and confident in working with your children and expect half the time to be feeding/bribing/jiggling but that’s fine – we don’t need a huge amount of time to make lovely images. My biggest advice is to avoid asking children to smile at the camera, and threats to behave themselves – have fun and be silly with the kids, and work with me to get natural smiles! Distracting them with tickles or funny games tends to work better then telling them off….and certainly it’s worth relaxing any normal rules you’ve got (apart from don’t hit the photographer!) for the hour of the shoot. If one of your children is not co-operating I may ask permission to take them off to the side for a few minutes on their own to capture their images. Many times, without parents looking on, children are remarkably well behaved and co-operative.
  • What shall I bring for the shoot?
Spare clothes (for babies), snacks/bribes (!) and a few toys if you think they’ll elicit smiles. I don’t tend to work with a lot of props but if you’ve got favourite hats/blankets/teddies/booties etc do bring them along and we can see if we can incorporate them.
  • What if we are late?
I leave 30 mins wiggle room before and after photshoots to make sure there is room to play around, but if you think you'll be later than that, just give me a call and see if we can work around things. Worst case scenario you come a bit later and we will have less time to shoot, but I promise you will still have plenty of images to choose from.
